This was my first time at "Jammin' 4 Jay" and I had a wonderful time. I congratulate you on the organization, staging, entertainment and how I saw everyone was made to feel welcome. I plan to attend next year and bring even more friends.

AJ Woodworth is a young sweetheart with a torchy voice that will melt the hearts of everyone, this girl is on the Country side of things who love to Rock.

Harpdog Brown was backed by John Hunter on the tubs, Greg Kennedy on the bass, and Yukon Slim on guitar, people this is the rhythm section Harpdog played with back in 83-85...it don't get any better than this....these guys think as one.

... It is first class all the way right from the main entrance, we (my band) had a wonderful time playing & meeting almost everyone after our "Gig". You both deserve a pat on the back for the effort you do from what we seen & heard. Congrat's to another successful Jam. Harpdog is a perfect "MC". He also helped us feel welcomed & to play, play, play. Hehehehehe. I thank you both again & hope to hear how it all went.
Bless you & yours. (( Wolfe Milestone ))

Saturday was our first time to Jammin' 4 Jay and I wanted to let you know we thought it was a 1st class event. There was nothing I thought you could do to make it better and what made more enjoyable was for such a good cause.

Thanks again for a great day, Pat

How it all Started

It all began 15 years ago as "Onion Fest", a yearly musical remembrance in honour of a late Firefighter, Paul Iannone. For the first eight years a local dairy farmer graciously donated his hay wagons to serve as our temporary stage.

In 2002 a permanent stage was constructed in eight days with the help of firefighters and friends. While admiring and celebrating what we had just constructed it was agreed we come up with a name for the stage, it was then that someone suggested the "A-Paul-O Theatre".

In 2004 our music festival was renamed "Jammin' 4 Jay" after Greg's son Jay died. The Jammin' 4 Jay Music Event is the major fundraiser for the Jammin' 4 Jay Charitable Society.
