Presentations

In addition to our annual musical fundraiser event (This years is on Saturday August 23rd) , the goal of this charitable Society throughout the rest of the year is to promote safe driving practices for young drivers by sharing the story of Jay’s accident and subsequent death, and the devastating impact his loss had on both family and friends.

Jay’s father, Greg Drew, has spoken to audiences in high schools, driving school, and has been featured in a variety of media articles and shows, telling the painful story of losing his son as a result of a speed related car accident.

Greg’s presentations are deeply raw, emotional, and heartfelt. Often the feedback be receives afterwards from students confirm they now understand his message that the choices made in life can have life-altering consequences that reach far beyond the individual and well into the community.

Greg speaks frankly to his young audiences, and avoids any “sugar-coating” of the terrible events at the time of the accident and up until Jay’s last breath in his father’s presence in hospital clearly impacts his listeners, and empowers them to make better choices – with safety being one of those choices.

Greg – and the Jammin’ 4 Jay Charitable Society – welcomes your enquiries about our presentations, and how they might benefit youth in your community.
